Our assessment process
At SIL, we pride ourselves in our work with clients who may be considered more complex or difficult to place.
A key factor in how we achieve this is with our unique assessment process, which is driven by a core team of professionals who love the challenge of what they do - learning each client story, adding context and understanding to significant events which have impacted on their lives. From there, we carefully shape the support we provide and explore drivers for change that pave the way for positive outcomes.
We also recognise that people may be affected by trauma, regardless of whether or not it’s been acknowledged. SIL's assessment process is the foundation to our personalised and trauma-informed approach, putting context to histories and responses, enabling us to take a genuinely person-centred and strength-based approach to individual recovery.
“Our approach is creative, resourceful and innovative - we'll never give up or shy away from a challenge.”
