Living at this service
Life at Culverland Close is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism.
We are ready to welcome a lady of any age to join the two ladies already living here. They like watching television, reading, and going shopping. They enjoy a quiet house, so someone with a similar outlook would be ideal. Whoever moves in will be supported in their daily life to learn new skills, increase their independence and get the most out of the local community.
Valued in your community
There is nothing more valuable than being an active part of the local community. Culverland Close is in a quiet residential area within walking distance of Exeter, a vibrant and historic city that offers a mix of shops, leisure facilities, landmarks and tourist attractions.
Exeter Quay makes a perfect day out with plenty of restaurants, pubs and small independent shops. You can also hire a boat or a bicycle if you wish to explore further afield. There are two major shopping centres in addition to the usual high street shops, banks and cafes. Cultural and historic attractions include The Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter Castle, Northcott Theatre and the stunning Exeter Cathedral.
There are many public parks to enjoy, including Northernhay Gardens and Belmont Park, and Exeter is perfectly placed to access the beautiful rolling hills and coastline of Devon.
“Culverland Close is a quiet and peaceful home, which is just how the ladies like it. We support them to go out shopping in Exeter, and to pursue all the hobbies and interests that they enjoy.”
