Eastwood Road
Life-changing support for adults with learning disabilities.
Type of property
At Eastwood apartments, people come together as a community. Living in this shared building means people benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, as well as enjoying peace and quiet when they need it too.
This detached property has four one-bedroom apartments, each with a kitchen and lounge area, and a bathroom with a shower. Eastwood also has an accessible garden with a patio for people to use when the weather is good. One of the people we support here has a pet cat.
Valued in your community
At Eastwood, we are fortunate to be located in a vibrant area with easy access to Manchester.
The local area has cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as a post office, high-street banks, Broadway Leisure Centre and a library. In nearby Oldham, there is the Coliseum Theatre, Odeon cinema, art gallery, and Spindles Shopping Centre.
Manchester also has lots of places to visit including the Arndale Centre and Trafford Centres for shopping, Sea Life Manchester, the Opera House, an Odeon cinema, theatres, museums, art galleries and bowling alleys. There’s also the Coronation Street Tour in Media City, Salford. For people who like to stay active, Manchester provides year-round access to a number of gyms and swimming pools.
Living at this service
Eastwood is ready to welcome an able-bodied woman up to 80 years old.
At Eastwood, people enjoy watching television, socialising, shopping, listening to music, bingo, cooking, and being in the community.
People at Eastwood choose how they spend their time. We organise regular outings for lunch or to the coast - Blackpool and Chester Zoo are firm favourites.
“The property is in a peaceful area close to Manchester, which gives access to many events and activities. At Eastwood the people we support love the peace of mind of having staff onsite 24 hours a day. This means people can live independently while getting as much support as they need.” Manager, Eastwood
