Elm Court is made up of three detached bungalows where people will feel welcome and supported.
Each bungalow has two bedrooms, a large open-plan lounge and dining room, and a kitchen. A has one bathroom with a shower cubicle, B has one bathroom with a bath, and C has one wet room-style bathroom with a hoist.
Each bungalow at Elm Court also has an accessible garden with a patio for people to use when the weather is good. Assistive technology can be tailored to suit the needs of each person, and includes wider doors throughout for wheelchair access and level access into each property. Pets are welcome - we currently have one resident cat.

Elm Court is in Shefford, which is a residential area with pubs, cafes, takeaways, restaurants, a post office and a library.
For people who like to stay active, Saxon Pool and Leisure Centre provides year-round access to exercise classes, a gym and sports courts. People also enjoy walking in the local area - Hoo Hill Maze and Wren Park are popular destinations.
People also like to visit Stevenage for larger shops and amenities including Roaring Meg Retail Park, Westgate Shopping Centre and the Forum. Stevenage Leisure Park also has a Hollywood Bowl for bowling, a Cineworld Cinema, and a miniature golf course.
Peterborough is accessible by train and offers Peterborough Cathedral, Queensgate and Rivergate Shopping Centres, and Peterborough Museum.

We have one available space at each bungalow and we are looking forward to welcoming new people to Elm Court.
One man is 66 years old and lives with learning disabilities. He enjoys listening to music, gardening and buying new plants. Another is 55 likes anything to do with Elvis, listening to music and drawing.
At Elm Court, people choose how they spend their time. People here enjoy listening to music, watching television, shopping, and being in the community.
Trips to the coast, tourist attractions, Bath and other historical places are favourites. The bungalows come together for parties at Christmas and other holidays.
