Maple Grove is an accessible bungalow where people are welcomed and supported to live happy, independent lives.

There are four bedrooms, two of which have ceiling tracks. One room is used as a staff sleep-in room. There are two shared bathrooms, one is a shower room and the other has a ceiling track with a Hi-Lo bath. There’s also an open plan living room, kitchen and separate dining room.
Outside there’s a good-size garden with a patio area and a large garage.

Life at Maple Grove is suitable for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or autism.

We support two people at Maple Grove, they are over 65 and are both wheelchair users. They enjoy a quiet home and like to relax watching television and chatting. They do lots of fun activities, like day trips to the beach and to the zoo. They enjoy spending time in the garden. They each have their own mobility car and often go shopping and out for lunch. At Christmas they go to the panto and one lady also likes to attend the local day centre.

Maple Grove is located in March, a small town near Peterborough. Within a short walk there’s a convenience store, pub, post office and takeaways. March has plenty of shops and places to eat, and we are five minutes away from a popular park.

March train station has direct services to Ipswich and Cambridge, and you can get a direct train to Peterborough in less than 30 minutes. Peterborough has a museum and art gallery, theatre, cathedral and a cinema. There are also plenty of shops, places to eat and historic sites to explore. For those who like to stay active, George Campbell Leisure Centre is nearby and Norwood Road Nature Reserve is a lovely area for walking.
