It is a large detached house with five attractive and accessible bedrooms, four of which are en-suite. The home also features a comfortable living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, an arts and crafts area, and a unique sensory room — the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of activities. Outside, there is an accessible garden with a patio and barbecue area for everyone to enjoy. Personalised support is provided by a dedicated team experienced in working with individuals who require higher levels of support.

Valued in your community

The Haven is a residential service for people with learning disabilities and autism. The team has extensive experience in supporting individuals to reduce and replace behaviours that challenge, learn new skills, build confidence, and progress towards supported or independent living within the community. The people we support at The Haven enjoy a wide range of hobbies and activities, including listening to music, swimming, cycling, sensory experiences, visiting the pub or going out for lunch, cooking, and exploring the local area. Everyone is encouraged to pursue their interests, enhance their communication skills, and develop greater independence. There is currently a self-contained apartment available that would suit someone with similar interests.

The Haven is located in a quiet residential area of Peacehaven, less than a mile from the town centre and the coast. With pebble beaches, clifftop walks, and the South Downs National Park right on the doorstep, Peacehaven offers the best of both coastal and countryside living. There is also easy access to both Brighton and Eastbourne. Local amenities include a swimming pool, leisure centre, cinema, and bowling alley, and there are plenty of local parks to enjoy, as well as direct access to the South Downs National Park.
