The Haven is a welcoming, supportive and stimulating residential service for people with complex care and support needs to live fulfilling lives.

The Haven is a large detached house with five attractive and accessible bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. There’s also a living room, dining room, laundry room, kitchen and a sensory room. Outside there’s an accessible garden with patio and barbecue area for everyone to enjoy.

Personalised support is provided by a support team who are experienced in working with individuals with high complex care needs.

Living at this service

The Haven is a residential service suitable for people with complex learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities or mental health conditions. The team has proven experience in reducing and replacing challenging behaviours, enabling people to learn new skills, become more confident and move on into supported living or independent living in the community. 

The people we support at The Haven enjoy lots of different hobbies and activities, including listening to music, going to the pub and out for lunch, cooking and getting out and about in the local area. People are supported to pursue their interests, improve their communication skills and develop independence.

The Haven is located in a quiet residential area of Peacehaven, less than a mile from the town centre and the coast. With pebble beaches, clifftop walks and the South Downs National Park right on the doorstop, Peacehaven offers the best of both coastal and countryside living.

And there’s easy access to both Brighton and Eastbourne. Local amenities include a swimming pool, leisure centre, cinema, bowling alley and there are plenty of local parks to choose from.
