Living at this service
We welcome individuals of any age and gender to The Royd.
We understand that mental health conditions are often complex and long term, and we work with each individual and their families or support network to plan their bespoke journey of recovery.
We focus on providing a personalised recovery plan, with all treatment tailored to specific individual requirements. Everyone is encouraged to be independent while playing an active role in their recovery.
“At The Royd we create a homely environment that is warm and welcoming, creating a sense of belonging for all who chose to live there. We operate an open-door policy whereby family and friends are encouraged to visit thereby creating that family atmosphere and ensuring that individuals feel that they are still a part of family life. People we support are at the centre of their care so that their individual choices, preferences and goals can meet their desired level of independence.” Manager, The Royd
