Wolverhampton Road
Type of property
At Wolverhampton Road people are welcomed and supported to live independent lives.
Wolverhampton Road is a semi-detached house with three bedrooms, one of which is used for staff overnight support. Downstairs there’s a large kitchen-diner, living room and a shared toilet. The bedrooms are on the first floor along with a shared bathroom which has a bath and over-bath shower.
Outside there’s an attractive courtyard which is used for parties and barbecues when the weather is good.
Living at this service
Life at Wolverhampton Road is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism.
The lady living here currently is in her 30s and has lots of interests. She loves watching soaps, listening to music, colouring and crafts. She also likes to go out for meals and attends a local disco every week.
We are looking for someone of similar age who enjoys socialising with others, going out for walks, and taking part in activities. It’s a fairly quiet house most of the time and would be ideal for someone who enjoys interacting and getting out and about.
Valued in your community
Wolverhampton Road is in Codsall, a couple of miles from Wolverhampton. There’s a supermarket, coffee shop and bank of local shops just across the road, with many more local amenities within walking distance. Codsall Leisure Centre is a short walk away, along with pubs, takeaways, shops and a village hall.
Wolverhampton and Birmingham are easily accessed by car or public transport, and offer a huge range of shops, leisure facilities and attractions. Pendeford Mill Nature Reserve makes a great day out with woodland walks, lake and picnic area.
“The house has a lovely atmosphere and there’s a small staff team who share support 24 hours a day. We’re always busy with trips, days out and holidays and we love having a BBQ in the summer.”
