For people who like to stay active, Blythe or Concordia Leisure Centres offer gyms, exercise classes, swimming pools, and a Clip ‘n’ Climb wall. We are also close to the coast which has picturesque walks.

Living at this service
The men we support here are aged between 34 and 63 years old, and live with learning disabilities, autism and other health conditions.
One man here likes to watch television in his room, and appreciates the peace and quiet. Another man enjoys going to the day centre four days a week, and spends a lot of time in the community, as well as in church on a Sunday.
People have varied interests including walking, gaming, listening to music, gardening, shopping, cooking, watching television, volunteering, socialising and being in the community.
At Avonridge, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to the local towns, castles, museums and shows are favourites.
“Avonridge is a true home and all of the people we support enjoy living here. When you walk into the property it feels like home. The house is in a lovely area and the people who live here are a pleasure to be with. One resident has been here for twenty-three years! It is a very friendly place, with a consistent and knowledgeable staff team.” Manager, Avonridge
