Betula Close is a shared house where people are supported to live the life they choose. The house has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and wet-room style bathroom.

Betula Close is on the same site as the three Citron Close services, giving shared access to their large garden. The people living at all services love to get together and socialise, whether it’s barbecues in the summer or day trips out together. Pets may be allowed, there’s currently a resident cat called Charlie.

Life at Betula Close is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health conditions.

There’s one lady living here, she is in her 40s and has lots of hobbies and interests. She likes getting out and about, watching football and going out with her support team. She also loves food and cooking and is interested in all types of cuisines.

The service would be ideal for another lady who has a good level of independence and can help out with the household chores.

Betula Close is in Walton, with its vibrant cafes, pubs, restaurants, and shops. We’re just a short walk from Walton Hall Park too. Broadway Shopping Centre and Stoneycroft Retail Park are easily accessible by car.

Liverpool is about twenty minutes away by car. Here, people can enjoy numerous museums and art galleries, Liverpool ONE Shopping Centre, the Liverpool Empire, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and Imagine That Science and Discovery Centre. And we’re spoilt for choice for beautiful walks - the docks, Toxteth Park, Wavertree Botanic Gardens and Sefton Park are just a small selection.

Liverpool is also home to The Reader Organisation - a charity specialising in shared reading to improve mental wellbeing. Located in Calderstones Park, people can visit the Reader Cafe or the Storybarn to join shared reading sessions, where stories are read aloud and then discussed.
