Brackendale is a modern detached bungalow where people are supported to live happy and fulfilling lives.

The house has four spacious bedrooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen. There’s also a sensory room, and a laundry area in the garage. There are two shared bathrooms, one with a Parker-style bath and the other has a large walk-in shower. Ceiling track hoists are available in both bathrooms.

Outside there’s a lovely garden with a lawn and seating areas, and a wheelchair accessible greenhouse.

Life at Brackendale is suitable for people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities or autism.

We are ready to welcome someone new to join the three ladies currently living here. Another lady over 30 would be ideal, and someone who would like to live in a friendly and happy environment.

The ladies here have a variety of hobbies and interests. They love watching television, listening to music and getting out in the community. They enjoy trips out for lunch and visiting the local park. Whoever moves in will be made very welcome and will be supported to do the things they love.

Brackendale is located in East Groscote, in an area with a post office, newsagent, chemist and fish and chip shop just around the corner. Jubilee Playing Fields are nearby too and a popular place for walking.

Melton Mowbray and Leicester are a couple of miles away and offer a range of high street shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities. Leicester is easily reached by car or public transport, and is home to the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery, the National Space Centre and the picturesque Abbey Park.
