Bradford Road is less than a mile from the centre of Brighouse, which has a number of supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and high street stores.

There are bus stops directly outside, with regular services into Brighouse, Bradford and Huddersfield. Brighouse train station is a five-minute drive away, where you can travel to Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Hebden Bridge and as far as Wigan.

Living at this service

Life at Bradford Road is suitable for people with learning disabilities and autism. While it can be loud at times, it mostly has a very homely, peaceful environment.

There are currently three independent ladies living here, with a wide age range. They enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, social events, jigsaws, going out for meals, watching movies and even going on holiday together. One of the ladies has a volunteer job that she enjoys very much.

The ladies are looking forward to welcoming another lady to Bradford Road who would enjoy similar activities.
