Burnham Court apartments offer the ideal mixture of independent and shared living space. In these apartments, people can benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, while having peace and quiet when they need it too.
There are twelve one-bedroom apartments, each with a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and a bathroom with a shower. Some apartments are open-plan, while others have separate rooms. All ground floor apartments have level access, and two of the ground floor apartments have a wet room-style bathroom.
Burnham Court has an accessible garden for people to use when the weather is nice. Assistive technology can be tailored to suit the needs of each person and includes CCTV and an intercom system.
Pets are also welcome - we currently have a resident cat and dog.

Burnham Court is on the outskirts of Burnley. The local area has pubs, convenience stores, takeaways and restaurants. A short walk will take you into Burnley centre, which offers Burnley Canal Festival Museum, high-street shops and banks, Burnley Market, Charter Walk Shopping Centre, a Reel Cinema, and MFA Bowl Burnley for bowling.
For people who like to stay active, Burnley has a range of leisure centres for exercise classes, sports courts, swimming pools and gyms.
People also like to visit Blackburn which provides access to the Empire Theatre, museums and art galleries, a Vue cinema, Planet Ice for skating, the Mall Shopping Centre and Market, Tenpin Blackburn for bowling, and many historical landmarks. People can use the Royal Blackburn Hospital here, which has specialist services for adult mental illness, stroke, dementia, and occupational therapy.

Burnham Court is ready to welcome men and women of any age. The people we support are very independent and are always open to trying new things, be active and spend time out of the house.
People have varied interests including walking, volunteering, working, listening to music, watching television, shopping, cooking, football, tennis, badminton, jiu jitsu, socialising and being in the community.
At Burnham Court, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to Skipton and the Sea Life Centre are favourites.
