Life at Chiltern Close is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism. Chiltern Close is a female-only service and is home to three ladies aged between 20 and 60. They are supported to take part in a wide range of activities, one lady goes to a local day centre each day, and they all enjoy dancing, music, animals, TV, socialising and day trips. Everyone is encouraged to do the things they love and get the most out of the local community.

Chiltern Close is in a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential area a mile or so south of Berwick-upon-Tweed. There is a supermarket, post office, bus stop and pub, all within walking distance. Both Tweedmouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed are within easy reach and offer plenty of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. There are some interesting historic landmarks too, including the old barracks and Berwick-upon-Tweed Castle. For those who enjoy the outdoors there are lots of public parks, riverside walks and beaches nearby.
