Living at this service
Elsbeck Grove is ideal for a sociable woman between 50 and 70 years old. The person we support here has mild learning disabilities. She enjoys keeping busy and goes out every day.
Her interests include shopping, cooking and baking, listening to music, karaoke, gardening, bowling, watching television, socialising, going to the day centre, and being in the community.
At Elsbeck Grove, people choose how they spend their time. Day trips to local towns or to the zoo are favourites.
“Elsbeck Grove is in a lovely, safe area and has a happy and busy atmosphere. People here enjoy being part of the community and have many friends in the area. Staff enjoy working at Elsbeck Grove as the people are very social and likeable. The house itself is great because it is large enough to offer enough private space and communal areas to socialise.” Manager, Elsbeck Grove
