Living at this service
We are ready to welcome someone who needs support with daily tasks and is looking to learn new independent living skills. Most of the people we support at Filbert Close have autism so our support team have developed strong skills and experience in this area. Everyone appreciates the calm atmosphere coupled with good social opportunities here.
People also enjoy going to college or doing work placements to learn about growing and selling vegetables - there is a vegetable plot in the garden! There is one communal apartment where people come together to socialise and do group activities such as arts and crafts, and discos.
“Filbert Close feels very homely. The staff team are very conscientious, going above and beyond for the people we support. There is a very strong community feel with people doing many activities onsite which encourages people to learn new skills. The atmosphere is very welcoming and family-oriented.” Manager, Filbert Close
