Fir Tree Court is a development of sixteen accessible apartments and four bungalows in the heart of Chadsmoor.

Each one-bedroom apartment has an open-plan living and kitchen area with white goods included and a wet-room style bathroom. Four of the ground floor apartments have patio door access and height-adjustable kitchen worktops for wheelchair users. There is a lift for access to both floors and communal side gardens. The one-bedroom bungalows are ideal for people with 24-hour care needs. Each bungalow has a kitchen, living room and wet room with underfloor heating plus patio door access to the back gardens. There are level access gardens to the front and back.

Assistive technology can be tailored to each individual and the service is secured by CCTV and an intercom system.

At quarterly meetings chaired by the Co-Production Ambassador, people plan new activities and discuss any issues.

Trips to Blackpool, Cadbury World, McArthur Glen designer outlet, Cannock Chase, Cannock Leisure Centre and other attractions are popular, and the Sunday Carvery at pubs Mill Farm and The Nest are favourites. The Fir Tree Court Walking Club explore the community on foot and some individuals recently took part in the Chasewater County Park Colour Run. In the summer, people enjoy socialising in the gardens, with regular table tennis tournaments.
