Living at this service
Flax One is currently occupied by three women aged between 26 and 86 who have complex needs, including PEG diet requirements, covert medication and physical needs. The atmosphere is kind and calm - everyone gets along really well.
At Flax Two we support four men aged between 40 and 80, who live with learning disabilities, and dementia. The atmosphere is busy and calm.
At Flax Cottages, people choose how they spend their time. Trips into the local area, especially for pizza and the cinema are favourites.
“At Flax Cottages the staff strive towards providing care packages that suit the individual needs of all the people we support. The staff have a very good understanding of everyone’s aspirations and have created a very homely atmosphere - there are always activities going on in the house but the environment is still very calm and soft. The house is well maintained and has a very happy atmosphere. One person has lived here for twenty-three years.” Manager, Flax Cottages
