Living at this service
The people living here are in their thirties and they enjoy going out, shopping, day trips, painting, playing games and watching television. One person at Furness Close has a mobility car and enjoys local trips and the other person enjoys horse riding as well as going out in the community.
The available room would suit a person who is similar in age to the people already living here, who likes animals and arts and crafts. It would be ideally suited to someone who likes a quiet house but who is sociable on occasion and enjoys going out.
Any new residents will receive person-centred, tailored support and be encouraged to follow their personal goals and ambitions. We can support people to learn new life skills such as cooking and money management, to take up a new hobby or make new friends, as well as getting out and about in the local community.
“Furness Close is a lovely, small bungalow in a much sought after residential area. The people we support here are quiet and the team are very caring and dedicated - some have been with Lifeways for several years. The families are heavily involved with the service and the staff team engages well with them and the people we support.”
