At Golden Hill people are supported to live independently.
The detached house has three ensuite bedrooms - one is wet room style, one has a bath, and the other has a shower. There is one shared bathroom with a bath and shower too. Golden Hill also has an open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge area. The property has an accessible garden with a patio for people to use when the weather is good.
Assistive technology includes door sensors and panic buttons for people to wear if they wish.

At Golden Hill, we are fortunate to be located in a peaceful village with peaceful surroundings.
Leyland has cafes, pubs, a library, a post office, restaurants, shops, high-street banks, South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre, and the British Commercial Vehicle Museum. There are beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside too. For people who like to stay active, Leyland Leisure Centre provides year-round access to a gym and swimming pool.
People also like to visit Preston, with its larger amenities. There’s St George’s and Fishergate Shopping Centres, the Harris Museum, art gallery and library, a Vue cinema, and Preston Rock n Bowl.

Golden Hill is an ideal home for someone aged between 30 and 60. The people we support here are aged between 32 and 54, and enjoy their routines.
Their interests include trains, shopping, listening to music, cooking, watching television, karaoke, volunteering, gardening, swimming, walking, and being in the community.
