Gorway Gardens
Type of property
Gorway Gardens is a semi-detached shared house situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. There are four bedrooms, an open-plan lounge-diner, a kitchen with laundry room, a games room, a shared bathroom and a separate shared toilet. There is also a fifth bedroom that could be used as a staff sleep-in room, should people require overnight support. Outside there is a large garden to the rear, with a ramp leading to a lawned area. The garden includes a small shed and a greenhouse, which the people we support enjoy using to grow plants and vegetables.
Valued in your community
Gorway Gardens is suitable for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or autism. There are currently three gentlemen living here, aged 40 and upwards. They enjoy spending time together, taking part in a range of activities such as playing games – including on the Wii – watching television, cooking, gardening, attending discos, bingo, barbeques, taking walks to the nearby shops, and going out for lunch. The available room is on the first floor, has an en-suite with shower and overlooks the garden. It would ideally suit a female with no physical behaviours of concern, who has a calm personality but enjoys being part of a sociable household.
