Grosvenor Avenue is a specialist residential service where people are supported to live with independence.

Grosvenor Avenue is a large semi-detached house that has been fully adapted to meet the needs of up to five adults with learning and physical disabilities, including behaviours that challenge. We provide residential placements and specialist support in a homely setting. Our high quality, tailored care and support programmes are designed to reduce anxieties, improve communication, and develop each individual’s independence and integration into the local community.

We encourage people to decorate their rooms in any way they like and have built strong relationships between staff and the people we support. The result is a lovely family atmosphere where residents are given the chance to really enjoy life.

Valued in your community

The home is set in a quiet residential area close to excellent public transport links, including trains into London. However, individuals also have access to two adapted people carriers so that they can make the most of activities and attractions locally and further afi eld.

There’s a lot to do in the Carshalton area, and the team at Grosvenor Avenue supports each individual to have fun and enjoy their leisure time as part of their ongoing support programme.

We empower every individual we support to take pride in their home here at Grosvenor Avenue.

Support to build up and maintain the skills required for daily living is always on hand. Where appropriate and with the correct level of support, individuals are encouraged to help around the house and garden with domestic tasks, cooking, cleaning and spending time in the garden, such as watering the plants.
