Grove Court Somerset
Type of property
Grove Court is a specialist supported living service that consists of a modern four-bedroom bungalow and ten self-contained one-bedroom apartments.
In the bungalow there are four bedrooms, all are en-suite and there’s an additional shared bathroom with an Arjo bath. There’s also a large living-dining room, conservatory, kitchen and laundry room. Four of the apartments are linked to the bungalow and the other six are in an adjacent building. The self-contained apartments consist of a spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The ground floor flats and the main bungalow are wheelchair accessible. Outside there’s a large lawned garden with a patio area that everyone has access to and can enjoy.
When you choose supported living, you’re choosing to live independently, safe and secure behind your own front door. There’s peace of mind in knowing the Lifeways team is on-hand, providing tailored support that helps people to lead more fulfilling lives, surrounded by like-minded people.
Living at this service
Life at Grove Court is suitable for people with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities, mental health conditions or autism.
The bungalow currently has four people living in it. They are all in their fifties and sixties, and enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, listening to music, watching game shows, doing puzzles and all love a good party. The atmosphere across the whole service is very sociable, good-humoured and caring. The lounge is definitely the hub of Grove Court, there is always something fun going on, and if there’s a celebration or party, everyone is included and invited.
