Living at this service
Life at Hassop Close is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries or mental health support needs.
There are four ladies currently living here who are aged from their 50s to 70s. They enjoy watching the TV – especially soaps – jigsaws, eating out, visiting garden centres and having their nails done. One of the ladies is non-verbal with an acquired brain injury, two ladies are very peaceful and quiet, while the other lady has some behavioural needs.
For the most part the home is quiet and relaxing, but can become noisy at times.
“Hassop Close is in a quiet location with wildlife regularly visiting the garden. The people here are supported to do the things they love and reach maximum independence based on their abilities. We have a lovely small staff team who are at the forefront of providing person-centred support and regularly go the extra mile in supporting the people who live here.”
