Henley Road
Type of property
Henley Road is a modern semi-detached house where people are welcomed and supported to live independent lives.
The house has four bedrooms, three are en-suite and one can be used for overnight support, as well as a communal bathroom upstairs. On the ground floor there’s a spacious kitchen with a dining area, a large separate lounge and a garage. Out side there’s a back garden with lawn and patio area.
Living at this service
Life at Henley Road is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism.
There are currently three people we support at the service who are aged between 30 and 55. They enjoy a range of activities from shopping, attending various courses, to going to the gym and swimming. They also like cooking, reading, listening to the radio and meeting up with friends. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the house has beautiful surroundings, gardens and adjacent parks.
We are ready to welcome someone new, who would enjoy joining in with leisure activities and being sociable.
Valued in your community
Henley Road has a great location, minutes away from local amenities and the centre of Leicester. There are shops, pubs, cafes and parks within a five-minute walk, and it’s a short drive to Leicester. Leicester is a vibrant city with plenty to see and do – the National Space Centre and King Richard III Visitor Centre are both popular, and there’s a museum, theatre and cathedral.
Leicester has a thriving nightlife scene alongside great restaurants and pubs. There are also some great outdoor spaces – Fosse Recreation Ground is moments away, and Abbey Park and Stokeswood Park are both nearby.
“Henley Road is a lovely, calm house where people are supported to do whatever they love. The long-standing support team and people living here are like a small family and the team always go the extra mile to make sure that everyone gets to live the life they choose..” Manager, Henley Road
