Downstairs there’s one en-suite bedroom, a living room and a kitchen-diner. Upstairs there are three further bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Outside there’s a small garden with paved patio area to the rear. The property has ramped access and the downstairs bedroom has a tracking hoist and is fully wheelchair accessible.

Life at Inveresk Street is suitable for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or autism.

The current tenant has lived here for the past 13 years. He is independent and enjoys a range of interests including wild swimming, going to the cinema and playing bingo. He also likes a quiet atmosphere.

We are ready to welcome someone new to the service, this could be either a wheelchair user or someone who struggles with mobility, or someone with a learning disability or dual diagnosis.

Inveresk Street is in a residential area with convenience stores, restaurants, pubs and takeaways nearby. Within a short walk is the main street with an array of high street shops, supermarkets, post offices, banks and chemists.

It’s less than twenty minutes’ drive to Glasgow, a vibrant city and national cultural hub, home to institutions including the Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet and National Theatre of Scotland, as well as acclaimed museums and a thriving music scene.

If you like the outdoors, Tollcross Park is nearby and has a leisure centre, rose garden and small zoo. Seven Lochs Wetland Park is also nearby and is a great place for walking and bird spotting.
