Living at this service
Life at Jersey Close is suitable for people with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and autism.
Jersey Close is ready to welcome a person aged between 40 and 60 to join the people we support here.
We support two men and two women aged between 58 and 66, who live with learning disabilities, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Asperger’s syndrome, and mental health conditions. People here appreciate their own space and enjoy a quiet atmosphere, so someone with a similar outlook is an ideal fit.
People’s hobbies include listening to music, watching television, walking, cooking, going out for lunch, gardening, shopping, socialising and being in the community. Trips to the coast and tourist attractions are also favourites.
“Jersey Close has a homely environment. We put the individual’s needs at the heart of what we do. We support people to become as independent as possible and celebrate people’s achievements and goals.” Manager, Jersey Close
