Living at this service
The men we support here live with learning disabilities and epilepsy.
One person here enjoys looking after horses, spending time with his parents, and going to the cinema. Another attends college three days a week. He likes anything Elvis related, watching live music, and relaxing at home. The third attends the local day centre five days a week. At home, he likes beading and watching videos of Christmas songs.
People choose how they want to spend their time - day trips to the coast and local towns, as well as a family trip to Disneyland are just a small example of places we’ve been recently. People also enjoy shopping, gardening, cooking and baking, watching television, swimming, visiting family, listening to music, walking, and being in the community.
“At Kingsfield, the staff team have gained great familiarity with the people we support. There is a friendly, homely and happy atmosphere in everything people do, because it is very person-centred. It really is a calm and relaxed place to live.” Manager, Kingsfield
