Living at this service
We are ready to welcome someone over 25 years old with a good level of independence. People have varied interests including listening to music, watching television, cooking, bingo, watching football and cricket, socialising, karaoke, going to the pub, walking, going out for lunch, gardening, shopping, and being in the community.
At Meadow Terrace, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to Southport, Blackpool, Scarborough, the coast and tourist attractions are favourites. Holidays abroad have been arranged for people too.
At Birch Hall, the neighbouring Lifeways property, activities including BBQs, charity events, cinema trips and sponsored walks happen regularly. People from Meadow Terrace are always welcome to join in these events, and often enjoy doing so.
“At Meadow Terrace we support a great mix of people. Everyone is very compatible and enjoys spending time with one another doing various activities. The atmosphere is very happy and welcoming, and there is always something going on. The staff go above and beyond for all of the people we support. The team is very consistent, strong and long term, having worked here for over ten years.” Manager, Birch Hall
