Type of property
North Barcombe is a modern semi-detached house where people are welcomed and supported to live independent lives.
The house has four bedrooms, a lounge, separate dining room and kitchen. One bedroom is downstairs and has an en-suite shower room, while the others are upstairs and share a bathroom with a bath and shower. There’s also a small staff office which is used as a sleep-in room for overnight support.
Outside there’s a lovely back garden with lawn, patio and flower beds.
Living at this service
Life at North Barcombe is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism.
The house is home to a male and two females ranging in age from 35 to 65. They enjoy a quiet house and they appreciate a peaceful atmosphere. They enjoy attending local day centres, shopping, meals out and visiting family. They also enjoy walks, going to the cinema and trips to local farms.
The house would be ideal for another female who is mobile and who is calm and non-confrontational. Someone of a similar age range and with similar interests would be perfect.

“We are in a beautiful suburban location and the house has four spacious bedrooms. It is a lovely house where people are supported to do whatever they choose to do. It is a small, consistent and experienced staff team who have worked at the service for many years and they always go the extra mile and have the best interests of the people living here at heart.”
