Living at this service
Oaks Lane is ready to welcome a sociable woman. The women we support here are in their thirties living with Down’s syndrome and cerebral palsy. Both people enjoy going to different day centres every day. They get on very well together, going on holiday and socialising all the time. Both women here are very excited to welcome someone new.
At Oaks Lane, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to the coast and tourist attractions are favourites. People have hobbies including cooking, gaming, listening to music, walking, going out for lunch, gardening, shopping, socialising and being in the community.
“There is a really lovely atmosphere among the people we support at Oaks Lane. The house is spacious and in a very nice residential area overlooking the sports field. It's a very social house where people share takeaways of an evening. The team is very supportive within the house, and the staff really gels well with the people here. It’s very welcoming and homely.” Manager, Oaks Lane
