Queen Oaks Court is a purpose-built set of apartments where people can benefit from community living while enjoying their own space too.

There are 16 one-bedroom apartments, four of which are wheelchair accessible and have height-adjustable kitchens.  All apartments consist of an open plan kitchen and living area, bedroom and en-suite bathroom. White goods are included in each apartment and assistive technology can be tailored to suit the needs of each person.

The ground floor apartments are level access and there are stairs to the first floor, with a cosy, communal space at the top with a seated area which overlooks the gardens.

There is a large communal garden at the front and back of the service for everyone to enjoy. There is external CCTV and a core support team always on site for background support and added security.

Life at Queen Oaks Court is suitable for people with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities or autism.

We are ready to welcome new people of any age and gender who would benefit from the right support in a modern and welcoming environment.  Everyone will be supported to live as independently as possible and to choose how they spend their time. We can support people to access education or employment, take part in the hobbies and activities they enjoy, and make the most of what the local community has to offer.

Queen Oaks Court is located in a popular residential area in Bucknall, a few miles from Stoke. Locally there are pubs, shops and restaurants, with banks, libraries and post offices all within a few miles too. 

There’s plenty to do in the local area. The people we support here like socialising together, going to the Helping Angels lunch club most Tuesdays, having a carvery at the local pub and enjoy a Sunday morning service at the local church.

The communal garden is often used for BBQs, games, bowls and celebrating birthdays. The garden also backs onto a community park, which people enjoy exploring. Popular attractions include Trentham Monkey Forest, Trentham Shopping Village, Waterworld and The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Queen Oaks Court is perfectly placed to access the beautiful outdoor spaces nearby; Westport Lake and Longton Park are popular, and we are only a few miles away from the Peak District National Park.
