River Lodge is a residential service providing specialist support for adults with autism, learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

This property has eight spacious bedrooms with ample additional communal spaces. Outside there is an enclosed private garden offering a peaceful area for everyone to enjoy.

Our philosophy at River Lodge is to help individuals with complex presentations by working in partnership to provide a person-centred service at the heart of the local community. We create bespoke care plans for each individual that we support, enabling them to achieve their goals and develop their skills while living the life they choose.

At River Lodge, we’re fortunate to be located just a short distance from Burton Town Centre, which has a range of vibrant cafes, pubs, a post office, Burton Library and a range of high-street banks. Leisure activities include Coopers Square Shopping Centre, a Cineworld Cinema, Burton indoor market and Mecca Bingo.

We also benefit from year-round access to Meadowside Leisure Centre with its swimming pool, gym, or Clip n’ Climb for the more adventurous individuals. When the weather is good, people enjoy walking in nearby Stapenhill Gardens or Newton Park.

Burton is located close to Derby, where you will find Derby intu Shopping Centre, Derby Theatre, bowling and a number of museums.

Every month, we hold meetings with the people we support to listen to feedback and ensure we are providing the right support. People choose how they spend their time. Some people attend college.
