Rubicon Close is a modern detached bungalow where people are welcomed and supported to live happy and fulfilling lives.

The house has four spacious bedrooms, as well as a kitchen, lounge-dining room, utility room and a quiet room. There is a shared bathroom with a hi-lo bath and walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The house has level access throughout for wheelchair users.
Outside there’s a garden with lawn and patio that everyone can enjoy. There are also two useful garden sheds.

Assistive technology can be tailored to suit the needs of each person, and all bedrooms and the bathroom have overhead hoists.

Life at Rubicon Close is suitable for people with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities or autism.

We currently support three ladies here, who are wheelchair reliant and non-verbal. They are aged over 50, and enjoy activities like listening to music, going to pantomimes, and trips to garden centres. They also love planning holidays, boat trips and sensory time.

The bungalow is suitable for someone with similar support needs, and someone who doesn’t mind occasional noise. The atmosphere at Rubicon Close is friendly and easy-going, and whoever moves in will be welcomed and supported to live a happy life.

Rubicon Close is in a quiet residential area located in between Loughborough and Leicester. Nearby there are cafes, pubs, takeaways and a variety of local shops and convenience stores.

Popular local destinations include Stonehurst Family Farm and Motor Museum, Dobbies Garden Centre and the National Space Centre. For people who like to stay active, Soar Valley Leisure Centre offers a large pool and gym, and for outdoor walks there are a range of parks nearby such as the Cossington Meadows nature reserve.
