Rufford Court
Life-changing support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, mental health conditions and drug and alcohol addiction.
Type of property
Rufford Court apartments offer the ideal mixture of independent and shared living space. Apartment life means people can benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, while having peace and quiet when they need it too.
The property has five one-bedroom apartments, each with a wet room style bathroom. The apartments have a mix of open-plan kitchen and lounge areas, or separate kitchen and living rooms - all of which are very spacious. People often choose to come together in the staff apartment for group activities and to socialise.
Rufford Court also has an accessible garden with a patio for people to relax in when the weather is good. Assistive technology includes a Tunstall nurse call system in all apartments, and an intercom.

Nearby Mansfield provides access to an Odeon cinema, the Four Seasons Shopping Centre and Mansfield Superbowl for tenpin bowling. People can also visit Newark-on-Trent for Newark Castle and Gardens, the National Civil War Centre at the Newark Museum, an Odeon Cinema, the Palace Theatre, high-street shops, restaurants, cafes and picturesque walks along the River Trent.
Living at this service
The single-occupancy apartments are ideal for a person who likes to socialise but also needs peace and quiet in their own space. Rufford Court offers an enhanced service, so high risk referrals are very welcome.
People choose how they spend their time and are always keen to experience new things - day trips and holidays to Skegness, St Ives, Newcastle and Liverpool are favourites here.
“At Rufford Court, the staff work hard to make all the people we support find their independence. The atmosphere is happy with a strong and caring staff team.” Manager, Rufford Court
