There are four bedrooms, with one of them being used as a staff sleep-in room for overnight support. Downstairs there’s a kitchen-diner and two lounges, with the spacious bedrooms upstairs along with a shared bathroom. Outside there’s a front garden and a yard at the back. There is a ramp fitted at the front for wheelchair access.

Life at Salisbury Gardens is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, physical disabilities or mental health conditions. We currently support two ladies here, who have a wide range of interests and hobbies. They enjoy Zumba classes, doing arts and crafts and going to the cinema. They also like going out for meals, drives to the coast and attending local coffee clubs. We are ready to welcome another female who would like to live in a relaxed, happy home. Someone who enjoys group activities and getting out into the community would be ideal.

Salisbury Gardens is located in a residential area a couple of miles outside Newcastle. Within walking distance there are shops, pubs, and a lovely park. Also nearby are convenience stores, cafes and takeaways. The city centre is a ten-minute drive away, and has all the amenities of a large, vibrant city. There are shops and shopping centres, pubs, restaurants and a lively nightlife scene. You can take your pick of historic and cultural tours and top attractions include The Quayside, Millennium Bridge and Newcastle Castle. There are a number of museums, a popular market and some beautiful public parks including Jesmond Dene and Rising Sun Country Park.
