The house is arranged over three levels and comprises of a ground floor shower room, utility room and staff sleep-in room. On the first floor there’s a large lounge and a kitchen-diner. Living at this service
Life at Scholars Way is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health conditions. We are ready to welcome a man aged between 25 and 50 to join the gentleman living here. He is in his thirties and enjoys gaming on his PlayStation, watching horror films, and Marvel superheroes. He also likes going bowling, to the cinema and cooking. He enjoys social interaction but likes a quiet atmosphere and would prefer someone with similar interests as a potential housemate. Someone who appreciates a quiet house and who would enjoy joint activities such as day trips would be ideal.
Valued in your community
Scholars Way is located close to the centre of Mansfield, with a supermarket, takeaway and bistro a short walk away. All the amenities of Mansfield are a ten-minute walk away, and there are plenty of high street shops, a shopping centre, library, pubs, bars and restaurants.
Mansfield is also home to a museum, theatre, Odeon Cinema and the popular Water Meadows Leisure Centre. For those who love the outdoors there are numerous parks and gardens nearby – Titchfield Park is nearby as is Sherwood Pines and Sherwood Forest is a great place for a day out.
“The service is very much a 'lads’ pad' and would be ideal for someone who likes to watch movies and play video games but equally enjoys a calm and relaxed house. We have a small staff team who know the service well and really go above and beyond.” Manager, Scholars Way
