People like to visit Bolton for the Crompton Place Shopping Centre, Bolton Market, the Octagon Theatre, a Light Cinema and Hollywood Bowl Bolton for bowling.
Living at this service
We are ready to welcome a mature person who likes a slow pace of life to join the people we support here who are aged between 57 and 80, and live with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.
One likes steam trains, socialising within the house and going to the disco. One person loves listening to music, going to the zoo together, and eating out. An older woman here enjoys a slower pace of life - napping, going shopping and eating out.
At St James Street, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to Yorkshire, Manchester, the zoo, museums and the local animal petting zoo are favourites. People’s hobbies include watching television, bingo, going to the pub, walking, socialising and being in the community.
“St James Street is a very lively and energetic property. Relationships between the people we support are encouraged to remain positive and maintained. Daily activities are very varied in this house. The community is safe and well maintained, and you'll notice the happy atmosphere as soon as you walk in.” Manager, St James Street
