Stenigot Road
Life-changing support for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Type of property
Stenigot Road is a detached house where people feel welcome and supported.
The four-bedroom property has a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a conservatory and two bathrooms - one communal bathroom and one ensuite - both with a shower over the bath. Stenigot Road also has an accessible garden with a patio for people to relax in when the weather is good.
When you choose supported living, you’re choosing to live independently, safe and secure behind your own front door.
There’s peace of mind in knowing the Lifeways team is on-hand, providing tailored support that helps people to lead more fulfilling lives, surrounded by like-minded people.
Valued in your community
Stenigot Road is in a vibrant residential area with cafes, pubs, restaurants, and a post office. Birchwood Shopping Centre has high-street shops too.
For people who like to stay active, Deans Sport and Leisure gives year-round access to a gym, exercise classes and a swimming pool. The area also has picturesque walks in Birchwood Fields and South Commons, or along the local river and dikes.
Nearby Lincoln gives access to high-street banks, Valentine Retail Park, St Marks Shopping Centre, theatres, an Odeon cinema, Lincoln Bowl, the museum of Lincolnshire Life, the International Bomber Command Centre, and Lincoln Castle.
Living at this service
We are ready to welcome a sociable man who wants to interact with the people in the house. We support men in their thirties here, who live with autism, Down’s syndrome and learning disabilities.
One of the men here likes shopping for cakes and sweets, going to Play Zone, to the gym and trampolining. The other man appreciates his own space and enjoys archery, going to the gym, visiting his family, and walking in the local area.
At Stenigot Road, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to the coast, tourist attractions and London are favourites.
“Stenigot Road is very close to historic Lincoln. The staff support is strong, while the house itself is very lovely and large enough to give everyone their own space. We offer person-centred care to make sure all of the people we support are doing the activities they want too, such as day trips and archery. The environment is very happy, calm and sociable.” Manager, Stenigot Road
