Stokebury Lodge
Type of property
At Stokebury Lodge apartments, people benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, while having peace and quiet when they need it too.
Stokebury Lodge consists of four self-contained, one-bedroom apartments, each with a kitchen, living room, wet room-style bathroom and bedroom. There’s also a shared living room where people can socialise and celebrate. There’s a staff office on-site too, so there’s always someone on hand. Outside there’s a large lawned area with a trampoline and swing, BBQ, small patio area, and raised flower beds.
Living at this service
Life at Stokebury Lodge is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism.
Currently there are three men living at the service aged between 29 and 37. They enjoy various activities including swimming, day trips to the beach or zoo, bowling, going out for meals in the pub and walks in the local parks or nature reserves. They also like to spend time at home watching tv, listening to music or playing in the garden.
We are ready to welcome someone of a similar age, who doesn’t mind a bit of noise and who enjoys socialising and going out for day trips.

Stokebury Lodge is in Amersham, close to all local shops and amenities. There’s a large supermarket across the road and it’s about a five-minute walk to Amersham Old Town which has several bars, restaurants and a memorial garden. It’s around 20 minutes’ walk to Amersham High Street which has a variety of shops, cafes and a park.
The Chiltern Hills are easily accessed from the house, offering countryside walks, cycling trails and historic buildings. Watford and High Wycombe are close, and it’s only an hour on the train to central London.
“Stokebury Lodge is a lovely home, everyone has their own space but with the added benefit of a communal area for socialising together. We have a small staff team who are dedicated to providing excellent levels of support and ensuring that the people we support achieve their goals.”
