Living at this service
Life at Stonethwaite is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury and mental health conditions.
We currently support three people at Stonethwaite who enjoy going out for meals, walks and day trips, playing board games, watching movies, having parties and watching sports, documentaries and comedy programmes. They also love to bake cakes and bread and do craft activities.
The house can get noisy and feel busy, and so would suit someone who likes socialising, doesn’t mind a loud house and likes to take part in group activities.
"Stonethwaite has a friendly atmosphere. There is always lots of laugher from the individuals and support staff. It’s a busy house but a very happy one. We have a great staff team who go above and beyond. It’s an absolute honour to be able to support the people living here.”
