It is a lovely four-bedroom semi-detached house, located in a quiet residential area not far from Hitchin. The bedrooms share a bathroom and there’s an additional toilet, and downstairs there’s a large kitchen, living room and dining room. The property has a separate laundry room and outside an accessible garden with a patio area that everyone can enjoy.

Life at The Green is suitable for people with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities, autism or mental health conditions.

We are ready to welcome a person of any age who would benefit from independent living with the right amount of support. The people we support here have lots of hobbies and interests, including going out for lunch, walking, cooking, swimming and bingo. They also enjoy day trips and going out shopping, and everyone is encouraged to pursue their own interests and get the most out of the local community.

The Green is in the small town of Stotfold, which has convenience stores, restaurants, pubs and cafes. There’s also the pretty Stotfold Watermill Nature Reserve featuring a working watermill, cafe, and beautiful parkland.

Other local towns include Biggleswade and Letchworth Garden City which is home to the Garden Square Shopping Centre, various galleries, a cinema and a wide range of public parks. The Green is located close to the A1 giving excellent access to the wider local area and a direct route into London.
