Victoria Avenue
Life-changing residential care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, physical disabilities and mental health conditions.
Type of property
Victoria Avenue is a specialist residential service where people are supported to live with independence.
It's a large detached property with seven bright and airy bedrooms and spacious communal living areas. The kitchen and dining room are the heart of Victoria Avenue. Here you’re likely to find residents chatting over a cup of tea, helping to plan the week’s menu, or developing their cooking and baking skills. There are two communal bathrooms, one wet-room style bathroom downstairs and an upstairs bathroom with an accessible bath.
Specially adapted to make it fully accessible throughout, there is a sensory room which uses music, lights and sound to stimulate people and has had a tremendous effect on people’s wellbeing.
At Victoria Avenue we’re very lucky to have our own private grounds, with a large enclosed garden to the rear that borders onto a small nature reserve. Many of the people we support love gardening and have planted borders and hanging baskets. Our accessible patio is perfect for barbeques when the weather’s nice.
Valued in your community
Victoria Avenue is in a vibrant area close to Wallington, Sutton and Croydon, with good transport links into London.
The local area has all the shops and amenities you could need, as well as some lovely outdoor spaces. Between Sutton and nearby Beddington you can find pubs, cafes, restaurants and takeaways as well as banks, post offices and a library. Central London is less than an hour away by train, making it a popular destination for day trips.
