Living at this service
Life at Whinneyfield is suitable for people with learning disabilities and autism. The lady living here is in her late-70s, is non-verbal and enjoys a quiet home. She enjoys sitting with her staff team and being part of conversations, going out in her mobility car, visiting cafés and restaurants and going shopping. She loves nothing more than ‘fish and chip, Friday’ and this is never missed which she never misses.
“Whinneyfield is situated in a quiet street and has excellent transport links to access Newcastle and beyond, whether by bus or Metro services. The current tenant has lived here for many years and has had a very consistent staff team who provide excellent care and support.”
