Living at this service
We are ready to welcome a sociable man who is looking to be part of a community. The men we support here are aged between 30 and 45, who live with learning disabilities and autism.
One of the men enjoys dancing and watching soaps including Benidorm, rock concerts and playing the guitar, as well as repairing engines and machines. Another likes socialising, going to the pub, and supporting the local football club. Another man works full time in catering - he is very independent, sociable and busy.
People enjoy going out for lunch, shopping, cooking, and being in the community. At Willowfield Terrace, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to tourist attractions, Halifax, Leeds and Bradford are favourites.
“Willowfield Terrace is a household of men who really enjoy socialising, music and going out. Some of the residents have been living here for ten years so the community is well established. The property is very well decorated and has views from the patio looking onto the hills and houses. There are lots of activities in the local town centres.” Manager, Willowfield Terrace
