Woolsington Court
Type of property
Woolsington Court is a three bedroom bungalow where people are welcomed and supported to live happy and independent lives.
There are two shared bathrooms, one bathroom has a bath and the other is a wet room. There is also a large living room, kitchen-dining room and a separate utility room. Outside there is a small outdoor seating area and the service is close to lovely green spaces and public parks.
When you choose supported living, you’re choosing to live independently, safe and secure behind your own front door. There’s peace of mind in knowing the Lifeways team is on-hand, providing tailored support that helps people to lead more fulfilling lives, surrounded by like-minded people.
Living at this service
Life at Woolsington Court is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism. We are ready to welcome an older gentleman who enjoys getting out and about for meals, theatre trips and days out. The two men living here are both over 70 so someone in a similar age group would be ideal.
The residents really enjoy going out and regularly plan day trips, walks, lunches and trips to the coast. They also enjoy watching television,
listening to music and gardening.
Valued in your community
Woolsington Court is located in a pleasant residential area in the centre of Bedlington, close to all local amenities like pubs, restaurants, high street shops, supermarkets and banks. There’s a post office, pharmacy and bakery nearby too, as well as public parks and a leisure centre.
Transport links to nearby towns are excellent, with Blythe, Whitley Bay and Newcastle all within half an hour’s drive. There are some wonderful parks and outdoor spaces to enjoy, with Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close enough for a day trip.
“Woolsington Court is a fantastic service that feels like a family. We have a committed support team who always like to make every day
count and make each day as special and exciting as the last.”
