Adrian Meets His Wrestling Heroes

We support Adrian in Leamington Spa, and one of his favourite things is watching professional wrestling. The manager of the scheme, Natasha Pender, decided to try and make his dreams come true and arranged for him to attend a wrestling show and meet the stars backstage afterwards.

Natasha said:

"Adrian is brilliant. He brings a lot of laughter and joy to the scheme where he lives. I knew he'd love this surprise."

Natasha and support worker Rhys Taylor took Adrian to the show where he was able to meet his hero Joseph Conners and his fellow wrestlers afterwards.

Natasha commented:

"The show was awesome. The atmosphere was fab and Adrian was up out of his chair joining in with the crowd; booing, cheering and chanting at the wrestlers. At one point I thought he was going to lose his voice!

I have no words to describe the atmosphere backstage, from when Adrian was walked in by Joe Conners, being introduced to all the wrestlers, and for these guys to have spent some time with him.  There are no words that can describe the feeling of knowing how happy Adrian was that evening. It's things like that which make working in this sector worth it."
