Introducing Our Financial Planning and Analysis Team
This year, our finance team decided to establish a standalone Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The team’s role is to support the business in setting budgets, identifying areas for improvements, and helping to deliver the overall goal of the business. They are very much a data-driven team partnering with all areas of the budget. Their overall aim is to help make Lifeways a more productive and efficient business. Meaning, our other colleagues can be freed up to focus on what matters – delivering excellent levels of care to the people we support.
This team was set up by Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, Kieron Steele. Kieron brought in new Financial Planning and Analysis Managers Annalise McMahon and Joseph Mensah.
Kieron states: "We hired Annalise and Joseph to expand the existing strong team. As the business has a lot of improvements planned for the next three years we made sure we were equipped to support every step of the way by bringing in extra colleagues".
Annalise McMahon joined Lifeways in October as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager within Finance. Her previous experience in the NHS attracted her to the care sector and work at Lifeways.
Annalise said: "My role involves supporting leadership by analysing data and business partnering, to help identify and drive improvements in the business. Essentially I help Lifeways to become the best it can be for our people and those we support. I look forward to getting involved and driving positive change at Lifeways."
Joseph Mensah joined Lifeways in September as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager within Finance. His previous experience working with growing organisations attracted him to the business.
Joseph said: "My role involves supporting the leadership team by analysing results and leading on key projects, that will improve our service to the people we serve. I look forward to working with the wider business and external stakeholders".
