Lifeways joins Championing Social Care initiative as a founder patron
Lifeways, the UK’s largest supported living provider, has joined seven other health and social care organisations as a founder patron of Championing Social Care, with a shared vision of ensuring a wider and deeper public understanding, appreciation, and respect for social care.
By joining the initiative, Lifeways brings expertise and support to Championing Social Care’s sector-wide programmes.
Championing Social Care was launched in 2018. Today, its programmes – including Care Sector’s Got Talent; Care Home Open Week; Care Sector Fundraising Ball and #SparkleForSocialCare – are a key part of the care sector calendar.
‘Delighted’
Championing Social Care is focused on delivering positive stories and initiatives about the sector.
“We’re delighted that Lifeways will be supporting the great work done by Championing Social Care,” said Mark Beadle, Lifeways’ Chair.
“The work done each and every day, by our kind, compassionate, and caring colleagues at Lifeways and across the care sector needs to be recognised, celebrated, and shouted from the rooftops.”
