Lifeways has partnered with Stream

Lifeways, the UK’s largest provider of support for people with complex needs in the community, has partnered with Stream to help its hard-working staff feel more in control of their finances.

Through the Stream financial wellbeing app, Lifeways team members across the UK will soon be able to access a portion of their earned wages before payday to help manage unexpected expenses.

They will also be able to track their shifts and earnings in real time, use the in-app Coach feature for expert advice and money management support, and save directly from their wages into an easy-access account offering a market-leading variable interest rate.

James Westwood-Beere, Chief People Officer at Lifeways, said: “We wanted to take a grown-up approach, give our team members choice, and provide practical financial tools that can make a real difference for them.

“We know that there are times when things get tough for many of our team members, with household budgets under pressure for all sorts of reasons.

“So, by supporting our teams across the UK, helping them manage their hard-earned money with greater flexibility and confidence, we can ensure they have one less thing to worry about, and ensure that they can focus on the job they love, and providing person centred support and care to the people we support.”

Millions of people around the world are already using Stream to access tools that help them build a better financial future.

Max Lintott, Chief Operating Officer at Stream, added: “We are proud to partner with Lifeways, an organisation that shares our deep commitment to supporting its people.

“Through access to practical tools - from flexible pay to competitive savings - our platform helps Lifeways’ hard-working colleagues to navigate their financial lives with greater confidence, so they can focus on delivering exceptional care.”
